Welcome to my Healthy Living Blog- I’m a Registered Nurse from MA, sharing my journey of life. I started this blog just to blabber on about work, random thoughts and keep track of recipes I love.. and it’s turned into quite the recipe/health/exercising blog! My passions are cooking.. and eating of course! Staying healthy by staying active.
Life shouldn’t be taken for granted. You only have one life to live and one body to use, so why not make it last? I got into Triathlons in 2009 after a stroke and have been hooked on cycling and running ever since. I may not be the fastest but I am pretty competitive. I love cycling, running, golfing, snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, and all things outdoors.
I have an amazing family, 3 older brother’s, and the best parents in the world. I’m so blessed to have such a close-knit family Here’s the whole gang.. including Sly- photo bombing!
These days I live with my amazing Husband, known on here as “JB” and Sly our Pitull, who thinks he is a little lapdog, and acts like one too.
.. in 5 words if I had to describe myself I would use:
animal lover (I cry at those commercials.. you know what I’m talking about)
wise guy.. or girl I suppose!
