So.. you're rushed for time, but want that french manicure look hu? well- i've got the answer.. thanks to Pinterest! (yet again) I saw this on there the other night and thought it was a great, convenient idea. When I do a french manicure I always take waaaaaaay too long- so here's a FAST, easy way to do it.
Remember these things from 6th grade? Well I dug mine out from the back drawer and put them to good use! ;)
Just put one on your nail where you want the white to show.. paint it without having to worry about that straight line, let them dry COMPLETELY then remove the reinforcements.
Take a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to remove any excess around the edges or smudging along the lines, apply a clear coat and you are good to go. Literally took me 10-15 minutes!
Not really sure how to cook it as it comes like this--
So we found a simple recipe, tweaked it a little bit, and went with it. Just season it with some S&P, a little EVOO, grill it skin side DOWN first over direct heat, for 3 min. Turn for another 3-4 minutes then brush with 1T melted butter, 1/2 t. Parsley, 1/2 t. lemon juice, some lemon zest and a little more S&P.
With a side salad, and smashed potatoes- I'd call it a pretty good night ;)
Tomorrow JB and I are riding BEFORE work- out the door on the road by 6:40am. I'll be riding with him then turning around back home, and he'll be riding to work.. yes- it's that time again. Commuting! Hmm.. maybe with my new hours I could do such a thing?
Do you commute to work?
