{Will Run} for chicken wings..

Todays run I felt like I had a hundred pounds on my shoulders. It was rough- Sly kept me going though, 25 minutes seemed much longer today than the other days. I’m gonna blame it on the busy weekend! Anyways- I was never a huge fan of chicken wings until I met JB. His middle name might as well be ‘chicken wing’. These things are the….. bomb ;)

I’ve made similar ones before and they were just as good..

They’re so simple, so easy and soooooo yummy. Perfect for the holidays to take along with you, for tailgaiting, and for family parties. I got this recipe from JB’s family, and now it’s a staple chicken wing recipe for us… well, when we do make them. Now- I wish they were healthy!

I made a lot so there would be left over’s for later in the week ;) so you  need-

  • ~4Lb chicken Wingettes,
  • 1 small bottle of low sodium soy sauce (10 oz),
  • 1/3 c water,
  • 1/3 c light brown sugar,
  • 1/3 c white sugar,
  • and 1 tsp. of garlic powder

First thing to do is cook the wings at 375 for an hour and half, uncovered on a cookie rack (so the drippings have somewhere to go).

then just transfer the wings into the crock pot with the sugar and soy mixture (coating well).

cook on LOW for 4 hours. Turn the wings half way through.

Fall off the bone good, finger lickin’ good..
